Get Into Golf

Why Get Into Golf?

Golf is a game for all ages and abilities. It is a game where you can exercise and socialise at the same time - catch up with friends and have a bit of healthy competition.

The handicapping system in golf means that people of different abilities are able to play and compete together. At the same time there are pathways supported by the regional and county associations and by England Golf, that will help aspiring golfers reach the very highest standards.

Summer Courses for Beginners

These Summer Courses for Juniors and Ladies are run by PGA professional Craig Gornall from Elite Golf Performance Centres and are particularly good value for money at only £20.21 for 6 group sessions.

The junior sessions on Mondays between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm are followed by group starter sessions for women between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm.

These sessions will be coupled to a programme of social activities for families and young people at the clubhouse and at the Prairie Sports Village driving range.

Golf clubs are available for all our begining golfers to use so you don't need to purchase any equipment to take part in any of these programmes.

Contact the Towneley Golf Course shop on 01282 438473 for further information or to sign up for any of the "Get into Golf" group sessions
