As Captain of Towneley Golf Club, I wish all new members and visitors a very warm welcome to the club.
It is a great honour for me to be the Captain of Towneley, having been at this club for 50 years.
I joined as a junior in 1974 and over the last 50 years I have seen and watched this club grow into a warm and friendly club and a great, challenging parkland course.
Our members offer a warm and friendly atmosphere and staff in the shop and clubhouse are always willing to help and make your visit as enjoyable as it can be.
Our green staff are always working hard to keep the course in great condition so that we can play golf all year round (weather permitting).

Towneley Ladies are a friendly bunch and very inclusive in our approach. We welcome all abilities, whether you are new to golf, haven't played for a while or are an experienced golfer. Please come and give us a try.

The ladies section is quite small at present and we are always looking for new ladies to join us. We welcome all abilities, whether you are new to golf, haven't played for a while or experienced.

My chosen charity this year is RNLI. I am very happy to support this selfless group of volunteers who risk their lives to save others at sea. You never know when you may need them.
